Megan Neighbors

Megan is a mechanical design engineer for New Ridge Engineering. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Megan interned with New Ridge for 4 months before transitioning to full-time. During her internship, she learned about mechanical design for healthcare, as she supported the development of both small-scale and large-scale clinics and facilities. She also worked with New Ridge on her senior design project, which involved a chiller replacement in VCU’s Sanger Hall. Megan has previous experience in HVAC sales, where she helped create estimates and write proposals for a variety of projects in the central Virginia region.

Megan is excited to be part of the New Ridge team, grow as an engineer, take on more projects, and to work on spaces that have an impact on people's lives.
