Tucker Matthews

Tucker is a principal and co-founder of New Ridge Engineering. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Tucker has quickly emerged as a leader and technical expert in the MEP industry. Specializing in IVF laboratory and healthcare facility design, he has managed MEP designs and served as the lead mechanical engineer for numerous IVF laboratories, ambulatory surgery centers, cryogenic storage facilities, and fertility clinics.

In addition to IVF-related designs, Tucker has designed greenfield hospitals, hospital central utility plants, USP 797 & 800 compliant compounding pharmacies, mechanical equipment replacements, and complex phased hospital renovations. He has also designed high-end restaurants and retail spaces, overseen equipment replacements, and managed several complex renovations requiring utility upgrades and modifications in existing buildings.

Tucker has been published in multiple engineering magazines and has presented as a subject matter expert to regional and international professional organizations. He has produced an AIA-accredited presentation on compliance with United States Pharmacopeia standards and has presented to over 500 embryologists in an International IVF Initiative online seminar on HVAC Design for IVF Clinics.
