Joel Wynter

Joel is a plumbing engineer for New Ridge Engineering. He has over ten years of experience in plumbing engineering and design. He graduated from the Maryland Drafting Institute in 2002 with a diploma in Architectural Drafting Technology, and from Northern Virginia Community College in 2005 with credits in Business Administration & Management.

Since joining New Ridge, Joel has engineered sanitary waste and vent systems, domestic cold, heat, and recirculation systems, natural gas, stormwater, and medical gas systems.

Joel performs all required calculations to determine appropriate pipe and equipment sizing for the source equipment of these systems. Joel has worked on medical facilities, restaurants with commercial kitchens, processing projects, and additional commercial projects throughout his career. These complicated projects require close coordination with specialty equipment vendors, architects, and civil and structural engineers to complete a cohesive design.
